Brian Villec, CFP®
Financial Advisor
I’ve always believed that financial planning is more than just numbers—it’s about people, their goals, and the lives they want to build. The most rewarding part of my work is forming real connections, guiding clients through critical financial decisions, and helping them achieve clarity in their planning.
Service has always been a part of who I am. As a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves and more recently as a volunteer firefighter, I’ve learned the value of discipline, teamwork, and being prepared for any situation. Those same principles shape the way I approach financial strategies—thoughtful, calculated, and always with a focus on long-term goals.
I earned my B.A. in International Relations from the University of Delaware and a Master of Science in Management from the American College. My passion for financial planning led me to earn my CFP® along with securities registrations including Series 6, 7, 63, 66, and 24 held through LPL Financial. I started my career in financial services with Smith Barney and OppenheimerFunds in New York City before returning to the Mid-Atlantic region to join Nationwide where I led a team of financial professionals.
With more than 20 years in the financial services industry, I’ve seen the wealth planning landscape evolve in significant ways. My role is to help my clients navigate these changes with confidence. My approach is always consultative, tailored to each client’s individual needs, goals, and risk tolerance. Collaborating with legal and tax professionals, I help ensure that every aspect of their financial strategy is aligned and wisely positioned.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me outside rucking, spending time with my family or answering the call to serve my community.
